| Our modified T-Jet drivers race 30 minutes on a 10 turn, 60 running foot scorpion buck track. Their fast lap times are in the 6.8 second range. They race 5 minutes per lane @ 6 lanes..... We race Fray style plus: open gearing, Aurora, Johnny Lightning, or AW chassis, open armature, Lexan or resin body. No traction magnets, no swiss cheese chassis. Each lap = 1 point After 26 races 3 time cup champ Brent Bences laid down 6,065 laps... 340 more then last year! We figured that a 200 lap race on our 10 turns = we pull the trigger over 2,000 times in a race. Brent's car traveled over 68 miles this season. 3 drivers made all 26 races: Brent, Casey Lanier, and Dave Bruner.. Brent also received the most wins (16) and best sport awards. |
