| The Oval "Fair Track" Saw Some Fast Action... |
| After pulling some teeth, Dave finally got his wish to race the modified T-Jets on the high banked 6-lane fair track oval. So far we had 2 races on the oval. The first race victor was John Sell with not much challenge. Dave made the feature but ended up 5th with a bent axle. Jeremy Schmidt won the 2nd oval race. Dave was up by 4 going into the inside lane. Then made a rookie error, flooded slick 7 to the motor brushes, green light, crash 1st turn! After several crashes because the car was to fast, heat #4 saw Dave go to the back, tried to make up laps. Dave crashing in heat 5 saw his pickup shoe and spring being put on by a kind marshall - hurry up! Never mind, Dave sees his mean green go up in smoke in the last heat. To much voodoo on pancake arms not good... Congratulations Jeremy on the win, that was some fun racing. Enjoy the pics below. After 21 races the top 10 drivers are: 1. Brent Bences 6. Dave Bruner 2. | Oval Race #2 A group, looks like marshal your own car, let the crashing begin. This was the perfect track for these high performance T-Jets. Jeremy Schmidt white shirt won this contest. |
| We voted on Johnny Lightning cut down bodies. American Muscle cars including the camaro, Corvette Sport, and all Aurora Muscle bodies. Open motor, gearing, wheels, slip on tires. |
| We did something different on the groupings. Top QT raced with Low QT and so forth.... |
| So that made for big grins on the pros that missed the flying rookies, and no track calls ! |
